Though its such a beautiful season to experience, it is also the season when your pool’s water chemistry is at its most vulnerable state. Due to phosphates from airborne pollen, bird droppings, and landscaping taking advantage of the time of year to cross cut lawns/ fertilize plants, your pool is given the necessary food for algae to grow. Unfortunately, during the spring we see a lot of these airborne phosphates ending up in pools and spas (causing algae to bloom).
